Look at the call to action in the end. “Google Search: 2012”. Not a .com nor a .movie, not even a myspace.com/2012. Just Google. Makes sense. Think about it. It’s as easy to type in the address bar than it is to type in the search box next to it, don’t need to “buy out” the url if it’s taken and it links not only to the site but to other sites/blogs/review/wikipedia/maybe even planted micro sites from the brand.
